As part of the “Yparxei” campaign and in collaboration with the Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Voluntarism, Zorbas Bakeries will be offering traditional New Year’s cakes (vasilopites).

They arrive with the aroma of freshly baked sweets, with light and warmth spreading from home to home. These are the hallmarks Zorbas Bakeries has stood for, consistently, for more than fifty years.
This year, through its established Christmas campaign “Yparxei”, Zorbas Bakeries, in partnership with the Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Voluntarism (PCCV), will offer traditional New Year’s cakes to senior care homes across all cities where PCCV member organizations operate. The initiative aims to bring moments of joy, smiles, and a renewed sense of hope to elderly residents throughout Cyprus.
The Group’s 2024 campaign, titled “There Is Care That Brings Us Closer,” serves as a timely reminder of the power of human connection. It underscores the value of care – and how even the smallest, heartfelt act of giving to someone nearby can make a meaningful difference.
In a statement, Zorbas Group Marketing Manager Ms. Sophia Tsene said:
