The Zorbas Group was one of CING\u2019s partners, in the context of its continuous effort for actions with multiple benefits for the Cypriot society and young generation in general.<\/p>\n
On September 15, 2023, the CING welcomed the new partners and proceeded with the signing of the memorandums of understanding. The General Executive Director and Medical Director of the CING, Prof. Leonidas Phylaktos welcomed the guests to the ceremony of the signing of the memorandums of understanding between the CING and the cooperating institutions and organizations, and said “It is not only a program that adds to the School’s mission to educate young scientists, but also to the Institute’s research”. He also emphasised that “this program will help the country in general since biotechnology is a relatively underdeveloped sector in our country, it is of high importance, since it does not only concern the health sector but also other sectors”.<\/p>\n
The Dean, Prof. Kyproula Christodoulou spoke about the Institute’s extroversion through the new program where synergies were created with other academic and research institutions, as well as, with the country’s industry. The coordinator of the new program in Biotechnology, Prof. Christina Christodoulou, in turn welcomed the new collaborators, who warmly embraced the new Biotechnology Program: “We are all characterized, as a team, by the same enthusiasm and the same will, to add a little stone in the promotion of biotechnology in the service of humanity and the environment”, she said.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the Zorbas Group, the memorandum was co-signed by Ms. Pascale Bouzon, Quality & Systems Manager, who said “we are very happy to participate in the new Biotechnology Program. We are very grateful to CING for giving us the opportunity to be part of this team and to offer our best in enhancing the knowledge of young students.”<\/p>\n
