The brand new “The French Workshop” is now a fact!
With the same successful philosophy and a commitment to offering the public a unique culinary experience, Zorbas Group continues, with great success, its journey outside the Cypriot borders, opening its 4th “The French Workshop” store in New York.
The new store, which officially opened last month and is located in the up-and-coming Wantagh area, is yet another tangible example of the successful partnership between the Zorbas Group and the Pantelatos family. Wantagh area stands out for its residential and family-oriented character, while it is close to Jones Beach Island, off the south shore of the popular location of Long Island. The fourth store remains true to the successful formula and values of Zorbas Group, offering excellent service and high-quality products to its guests.
Like the other three stores, “The French Workshop” offers a differentiated approach to dining, with premium bakery and pastry offerings based on authentic French recipes. Among the products stand out the savory and sweet bakes, freshly baked bread, pastries, and freshly ground coffee. In terms of decoration, the shop has a contemporary character with modern furniture and is characterized by French refinement with glass, and marble.
In a statement, Dimitris Zorbas, CEO of Zorbas Group, said: “It is with great pleasure and satisfaction to see our vision come to fruition and the Group’s success transcend Cypriot borders, earning a place in the hearts of New Yorkers and beyond. In more than eight years that we have been operating in the American market, with the Pantelatos family as our companion, whom I thank warmly for their cooperation, the four “The French Workshop” has managed to become a meeting point for both the locals and the Greek community, which has embraced the whole project from the very first moment. It gives us the strength to continue with the same appetite for the future, always having as a priority the provision of an excellent service and a high-quality gastronomic experience”.
“The French Workshop” first opened in 2015 in the upscale Queens area of New York City, the second in 2018 in the Garden City area, and the third opened in 2021 on South Oyster Bay Street.
