In 1975, Andreas Zorbas wrote the first page of the Group when he decided to operate a small bakery in the yard of his house in the village of Athienou in Cyprus. The family bakery expanded, and in 1988 the first Zorbas Bakery opened its doors in Nicosia, on the busy Iphigenia Street. Almost 50 years later, Zorbas Bakeries are found in every corner of Cyprus and are the island’s favourite destination for bakery and confectionery items, hot food, fresh coffee, etc.
